Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced the full cast of dancers for A Life in Four Seasons, a new contemporary dance work inspired by Vivaldi’s iconic composition.

Directed by Tinuke Craig with choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento, the production runs from 11 to 14 June 2026, with a press performance on Friday 12 June.

The reimagined work features a recorded musical score by composer DJ Walde and marks a bold addition to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s 2026 season.

The dancers are Tanesha Aba, Kazmin Borrer, Robia Brown, Emi Ichikawa, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, Jacqui Jameson, Susan Kempster, Louis Mackrodt, Christie Lee Manning, Michael Naylor, Laura Dawn Pyatt, Mark Smith, Nadia Sohawon, Beryl Tay, Mami Tomotani and Ethan Vijn.

Tinuke Craig, Associate Artistic Director of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, said: “I’m so thrilled to be working on this new and exciting piece of dance with such an accomplished team of artists. It’s a real honour to work with this company who are bringing such a wealth of experience, such a breadth of styles and approaches and such a generosity of spirit to this project.”

She added: “This project aims to examine who we are, what we can change and what we can’t, and how we can grow to love ourselves and each other over the course of a life.”

Choreographer Alexzandra Sarmiento said: “I’m so pleased that dance is being added to that canon and I can’t wait to share with you what we are cooking up with our incredible company of dancers.”

Composer DJ Walde added: “It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with the amazing Tinuke Craig. I’m looking forward to working alongside and creating with this amazing bunch of creatives and these wonderful dancers.”

Described as an audacious evening of contemporary dance, A Life in Four Seasons follows three friends as they journey through life across the changing seasons, blending movement, music and storytelling in Regent’s Park’s open-air setting.
