Rehearsal images have been released for A Life in Four Seasons, a new contemporary dance work set to premiere at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre this June.

The production, directed by Tinuke Craig with choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento, reimagines Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with a dynamic ensemble cast.

The newly released images offer a first glimpse of the dancers in rehearsal as they bring this bold new interpretation to life, set to a recorded score by composer DJ Walde.

Performances run from 11 to 14 June 2026, with a press night on 12 June.

The cast includes Tanesha Aba, Kazmin Borrer, Robia Brown, Emi Ichikawa, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, Jacqui Jameson, Susan Kempster, Louis Mackrodt, Christie Lee Manning, Michael Naylor, Laura Dawn Pyatt, Mark Smith, Nadia Sohawon, Beryl Tay, Mami Tomotani and Ethan Vijn.

A Life in Four Seasons follows three friends navigating life across spring, summer, autumn and winter, capturing the changing rhythms of existence through contemporary dance.

Tinuke Craig said, “I’m so thrilled to be working on this new and exciting piece of dance with such an accomplished team of artists. It’s a real honour to work with this company who are bringing such a wealth of experience, such a breadth of styles and approaches and such a generosity of spirit to this project, which aims to examine who we are, what we can change and what we can’t, and how we can grow to love ourselves and each other over the course of a life”.

Alexzandra Sarmiento said, “The audiences of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have delighted in experiencing storytelling through an incredible canon of plays, musicals, operas, and other fantastic forms of performance. I’m so pleased that dance is being added to that canon and I can’t wait to share with you what we are cooking up with our incredible company of dancers”.

DJ Walde said, “It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with the amazing Tinuke Craig. I’m looking forward to working alongside and creating with this amazing bunch of creatives and these wonderful dancers”.
