The Menier Chocolate Factory has released the first set of rehearsal images for its major revival of The Holy Rosenbergs, offering a glimpse into the process as the company prepares for previews from 27 February.

The production marks the return of director Lindsay Posner to the venue, ahead of his staging of Equus later in the season.

Dan Fredenburgh, Nitai Levi, Adrian Lukis, Dorothea Myer-Bennett, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Nicholas Woodeson and Alex Zur lead the cast. With the full acting company already announced, the newly released images focus on the ensemble as they explore Craig’s family drama set in Edgware.

The play originally premiered at the National Theatre in 2011 and follows the Rosenberg family as they grapple with personal and political turmoil. The Menier revival is billed as timely and sharply relevant.

Rehearsals have now stepped up ahead of the press night on 9 March, with the production running until 2 May.
