Francesca Moody Productions and Global Creatures have announced that ROLEPLAY, the new play by Hannah Reilly, will transfer to Soho Theatre from 22 October to 21 November 2026 following its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer.
Written and performed by Reilly and directed by Paige Rattray, ROLEPLAY is described as an unflinching new play about sex, power and the economics of attention.
Performances at Edinburgh Fringe are almost sold out ahead of opening, with tickets for the Soho Theatre run now on sale.
Bold, provocative and darkly funny, ROLEPLAY follows a struggling feminist podcaster who rebrands herself in pursuit of fame, only to lose herself in the performance.
The production explores modern sex, womanhood and the commodification of feminism in the age of the personal brand, examining the impact of influencer culture, subscription platforms and the monetisation of identity.
The show marks a major collaboration between Francesca Moody Productions, the award-winning producers behind Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, and Global Creatures, producers of Moulin Rouge! The Musical and Muriel’s Wedding The Musical.

The cast features Hannah Reilly, with a creative team including lighting designer Prema Mehta, sound designer Lucy Baker-Swinburn, set and costume designer Dave Fleischer, video designers Nick Hillel and Adam Smith, composer Clemence Williams, voice and dialect coach Daniele Lydon, and choreographer Betty Grumble.
