Sadler’s Wells has announced a vibrant festive season across its venues and digital platform, featuring returning favourites and a bold new production.
At Sadler’s Wells East, Ebony Scrooge offers a fresh hip hop reimagining of A Christmas Carol. Running from 26 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, this family-friendly dance theatre show is choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Dannielle ‘Rhimes’ Lecointe and features original music by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante MBE.
The story follows Ebony, a formidable fashion designer who cancels Christmas to focus on her landmark fashion show. As she is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, Ebony reconnects with her Caribbean heritage and discovers the true meaning of happiness.
This marks the first Christmas production at Sadler’s Wells East, rounding off a successful inaugural year for the venue.
