Serenade London Announce Cast for Concert For The Love of Girls

Serenade London announce their cast for their debut London concert; For The Love Of Girls at The Other Palace for the benefit of Plan International UK’s Girls Fund.

Cast includes, Alex Young (Follies, Carousel), Laura Tebbutt (Fiddler On The Roof), Kelly Mathieson (Phantom of the Opera), Samantha Dorsey (Les Miserables), Alexandra J Burns (The Girls), Charlie-Jade Jones (Parade), Isobel Bates, Kate Marlais (War Horse), Nikita Johal (Spring Awakening), Rebecca Gilliland (The Hired Man). With Musical Staging by Christie Crosson and Musical Direction by Carol Arnopp.

Serenade London presents its debut London concert at The Other Palace: For The Love Of Girls. Celebrating the work of female composers & lyricists in musical theatre, it features music from West End & Broadway shows, as well as some new musical theatre writing. For The Love Of Girls is for the benefit of Plan International UK’s Girls Fund.

       

“Plan International UK’s Girls Fund supports long-term projects to empower girls at risk of harmful practices like child marriage, female genital mutilation and violence. From raising awareness of the real dangers of child marriage and FGM, to training teachers and providing school books so girls can stay in school, the fund helps to change young girls’ lives.”

Serenade London works to bring together London’s finest classical and musical theatre singers and musicians for concerts and events in London and beyond.
