Oh Sister Mary, the musical comedy cabaret starring Sister Mary, will play a strictly limited engagement at The Arches Lane Theatre, Battersea from Tuesday 17 March to Saturday 21 March at 7pm. Tickets begin at £15.

Following her recent appearances at Charing Cross Theatre and a summer season in New York and Provincetown, Sister Mary brings audiences a new night of songs, comedy, showtunes, silliness and surprises, with the possibility of a little audience participation along the way.

Known as Soho’s original cabaret nun, Sister Mary promises a riotous evening with no prayers involved. Found on the steps of St Peters of the Sisters of the Third Removed in Soho, she believes that musical theatre legend Elaine Paige might be her mother. Whether fantasy or fact, she’s ready to tell all and perhaps encourage a few confessions from the audience.

Created and performed by actor, director and playwright Tim McArthur, Sister Mary has entertained audiences across the UK, the US and South Africa. McArthur’s extensive cabaret, theatre and presenting credits include Into the Woods at The Cockpit Theatre, Eurovision Your Decision at RVT and the Kings Head Theatre, and Bathhouse the Musical. His writing credits include Small Town Boys at the Union Theatre and A Word for Mother at Upstairs at the Gatehouse.
