Six Teen Edition

Concord Theatricals has announced that the Six: Teen Edition is now available for licensing to amateur school groups in the UK and Ireland.

Six: Teen Edition is a full-length adaptation of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ international
phenomenon ‘SIX’, modified for performance by teen actors for family audiences.

Marlow and Moss said: “This feels like a real full-circle moment. We wrote ‘SIX’ for our female and non-binary friends to perform when we were all students, so to now have this teen edition for schools enabling young people to take the mic, use their voice and claim their own space is truly humbling.”

Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, in ‘SIX’ the wives of Henry VIII take the mic and step out of the shadow of their infamous spouse to reclaim their identities — remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into a celebration of 21st-century girl power.

‘SIX’ was created and written by Marlow and Moss. What began life as a one-off student production staged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 has gone on to be staged professionally, currently seen on stages in London’s West End, on Broadway and on tours across the UK, Australia, New Zealand and North America.

Garnering awards, ovations and a worldwide Queendom of fans, ‘SIX’ has made British musical history, with music from the show streamed in excess of 450 million times worldwide, and an original studio album achieving Gold status.
