MCG Productions has revealed the stellar cast for the UK premiere of Saving Mozart, a bold new musical set to run at The Other Palace from 28 July to 30 August 2025.

Leading the cast is Aimie Atkinson (Six, Pretty Woman) as Nannerl, joined by Jack Chambers (Stiletto, The Strange Affair of Herschel Grynspan) as Mozart.

Erin Caldwell (Six, Heathers) will play Constanze, with Jordan Luke Gage (Titanique, &Juliet) as Salieri and Douglas Hansell (Stiletto, Come From Away) as Leopold.

Aimie Atkinson said:

“It’s a real pleasure to be stepping into the leading role of Nannerl in this extraordinary new musical, Saving Mozart, at the home of new musicals, The Other Palace. I’m so excited to work again with Charli and to sing her incredible music. I can’t wait to share this brilliant brand-new work with audiences this Summer.”

The ensemble includes Sveva Bartolini, Harriette Benazir-White, Corey Mitchell and Alfie Simmons, with additional casting to be announced.

Saving Mozart is written and composed by Charli Eglinton and directed by Markus Olzinger, with choreography by Taylor Walker and design by Julia Pschedezki (costume), Justin Williams (set), and Ben Jacobs (lighting). Casting is by Ben Armstrong.

The musical, which earned critical acclaim during its world premiere in Gmunden, Austria, reimagines the life of Mozart through the lens of the women who shaped his legacy.
