StarKid will return to London in 2027 with Nerdy Prudes Must Die, bringing the hit musical to the Apollo Theatre for a strictly limited run from 6 February to 7 March 2027.
Written by Nick and Matt Lang, with music and lyrics by Jeff Blim, the musical follows this year’s sold-out West End engagement of The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals and marks StarKid’s second London season.
Directed and choreographed by Lauren Lopez, the production will feature the entire original cast from the musical, including Will Branner as Max Jägerman, Mariah Rose Faith Casillas as Steph Lauter, Bryce Charles as Detective Shapiro, Corey Dorris as Mayor Lauter, Angela Giarratana as Grace Chasity, Lauren Lopez as Ruth Fleming, Jon Matteson as Richie Lipschitz, Curt Mega as Officer Bailey, Joey Richter as Peter Spankoffski and Kim Whalen as Miss Mulberry.
Set at Hatchetfield High, Nerdy Prudes Must Die follows a group of teenage outsiders who accidentally unleash an ancient evil. As a supernatural threat emerges, a gang of unlikely heroes must confront a deadly bully from beyond the grave before disaster strikes their town.
Combining horror, comedy and a score packed with memorable songs, the musical is part of StarKid’s ever-expanding Hatchetfield universe, which has helped the company amass a devoted international fanbase and more than 360 million views on YouTube.
StarKid first came to the UK with the sold-out IT’S STARKID INNIT at The London Palladium in 2024, before returning with another sold-out concert event, I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S BEEN A LITTLE LESS THAN A YEAR, in 2025.
The production is presented by Lambert Jackson and StarKid, with performances scheduled Tuesday to Sunday at 7pm, alongside Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on 18 September, following a 24-hour pre-sale beginning on 17 September.
