Beloved rock ‘n’ roll spectacular That’ll Be The Day is back on the road for its 40th Anniversary Spring Tour, running from January to June 2026, with a special press night at the London Palladium on Tuesday 3 February.
The much-loved production, created by Trevor Payne and Prestige Productions, celebrates the golden era of music with over 60 iconic hits from the ‘50s through to the ‘80s. Audiences can expect legendary tracks from artists including The Beatles, Whitney Houston, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and Cliff Richard, alongside the show’s trademark comedy sketches and impressions.
In honour of its milestone year, That’ll Be The Day will return to the London Palladium for a one-night-only performance featuring guest star Tom Ball, who rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent: All Stars. Ball has achieved eleven No.1 global chart rankings and partnered with the show for the charity single Make A Wish Come True in support of Make A Wish UK.
Director and producer Trevor Payne said:
“One of the secrets behind our success is the dedication and hard work of the entire company. I’m especially proud that what began as performances in clubs and holiday camps has evolved into the UK’s number one touring rock and roll theatre show. Unlike any other act I know, That’ll Be The Day refreshes its content annually and strives to improve production year on year.”
The show has raised over £1 million for charities including Childline, Make A Wish, Help for Heroes, and the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal through post-show collections.
The 40th Anniversary Tour will visit venues across the UK, including Essex, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, London, Wales, Yorkshire, Devon, Cornwall, and more.
