Rock ‘n’ roll variety show, That’ll Be The Day, is set to return to the iconic London Palladium on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 as part of its landmark 40th anniversary tour.
A decade after last playing to a packed house at the legendary venue, the show’s creator and star Trevor Payne will lead a multi-talented cast of musicians and singers in a dazzling celebration of music and nostalgia.
From the foot-stomping rhythms of the ‘50s to the unforgettable anthems of the ‘80s, That’ll Be The Day takes audiences on a joyous journey through the songs that defined generations.
The show features over 60 classic hits from artists including The Beatles, Cliff Richard, ABBA, Tom Jones, The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton.
In addition to the music, audiences can expect laugh-out-loud comedy sketches and vintage adverts that evoke the cultural soul of the past.
Trevor Payne, director, producer and performer, said:
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 40 years since we first hit the stage with That’ll Be The Day. What began as a small idea has grown into the UK’s most successful touring rock ‘n’ pop production and I am forever grateful for the incredible support from audiences across the UK. Bringing the show back to the London Palladium is really special for us and we can’t wait to share this anniversary celebration with both our loyal fans and new faces at the most famous theatre in the world. We promise it will be a night to remember.”
The production has raised over £1 million for charities including Childline, Make A Wish, Help for Heroes, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, and the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal through post-show collections.
The full 40th anniversary tour will be announced soon.
