12 Days of Christmas Bishopsgate Institute

12 Days of Christmas Bishopsgate Institute

This December, Londoners are being invited to take a break from the panicked shopping, panto and awkward office parties to come mark the festive season at one of twelve unique events which are all part of The 12 Days of Christmas season at Bishopsgate Institute.

Fans of musical theatre are invited into the intimate setting of the Library to enjoy A Night Off with Alex Young and Jennifer White. Alex Young is currently playing ‘Young Sally’ in ‘Follies’ at the National Theatre, a production for which Jennifer Whyte serves as the Assistant Musical Director. These extraordinary talents will transform our Victorian Library performing the classics and some of their own favourite musical theatre songs.

For Noel, Noël: An Evening of classic Coward, performers take the audience through their favourite pieces of Noël Coward’s work in a specially commissioned festive cabaret, hosted in our unique Victorian Library.

A host of new archive collections tours, social dances and library talks making up the rest of The 12 Days of Christmas season of events, giving a festive twist to the diverse programming which makes Bisphosphate Institute unique.

The 12 Days of Christmas events takes place between the 1st to 17th December. For more information about the season of festive events at Bishopsgate Institute, click here.
