The 26th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards will take place at The London Palladium on Sunday 8 March 2026, marking the third time the ceremony has been hosted at the iconic venue.

Celebrating its 26th year, the WhatsOnStage Awards remains the only major UK theatre awards decided entirely by the public. Theatre fans will be able to nominate and vote across a wide range of categories.

Nominations open on Thursday 6 November 2025, with eligibility criteria to be announced later this autumn via the official WhatsOnStage Awards website.

The ceremony will begin at 6.30pm and promises an evening of exclusive live performances from leading stage talent. The event is co-produced by creative directors Alex Parker and Damian Sandys.

Tickets are now available to WhatsOnStage Theatre Club members via LW Theatres, with general sale beginning Friday 5 September at 12pm.

WhatsOnStage’s Darius Thompson and Alex Wood said:

“In a time of AI-generated content, divisive fake news and hate-fuelling algorithms, the powerful and unique connection between performers and audience, sharing a space together, must be cherished and celebrated.

For over a quarter of a century, the Awards have been shaped by devoted and passionate audiences, celebrating the shows and performers that have inspired them. That is what makes the WhatsOnStage Awards unique. We’re delighted to be returning to The London Palladium for a third time and can’t wait to share another unforgettable night with everyone who loves theatre.”

The awards are supported by a wide range of industry partners including Disney Theatrical, Ticketmaster, Dewynters, SINE Digital, and Theatrical Rights Worldwide.

A limited Supporters Package has also been reintroduced, offering premium tickets, access to exclusive receptions and parties, and recognition across Awards materials. Interested parties can email [email protected] to register.
