The Roald Dahl Story Company has announced the full cast for The Enormous Crocodile The Musical, opening at Theatre Royal Windsor on 8 August 2025.

The production will then return to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre from 15 August to 7 September 2025, following successful runs at Leeds Playhouse in 2023 and Regent’s Park in 2024.

Taya Ming will take on the title role of The Enormous Crocodile. She is joined by Nia Stephen as Trunky the Elephant, Ryan Crellin-Simpson as Humpy Rumpy the Hippopotamus, Alison Arnopp as Roly Poly Bird, Siobhan Athwal as Muggle Wump the Monkey, and Eleanor Ambekar as Swing.

A Christmas season at The Lowry, Salford has also been announced, running from 9 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. Casting for this leg of the tour will be revealed at a later date.

The musical, based on Roald Dahl’s beloved book, follows a greedy crocodile on a mission to eat children, only to be thwarted by the other jungle animals.
