Performances of The Hunger Games: On Stage have been extended through to 14 February 2027 at London’s Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.
The production, based on Suzanne Collins’ bestselling novel and Lionsgate’s blockbuster film, continues its run in the purpose-built 1,200-seat theatre-in-the-round venue in Canary Wharf.
Tickets are now on sale, with performances from 28 October released to the general public on 29 May 2026.
The extended run coincides with new experiences for theatre-goers, including a floral installation celebrating the forthcoming release of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and an exhibition of original film costumes displayed in the theatre foyer.
The venue has also launched Songbird Restaurant and Bar as a standalone dining destination, offering seasonal British cuisine, creative cocktails and waterfront views, alongside its popular pre-theatre menu.
The cast is led by Mia Carragher as Katniss Everdeen, with Euan Garrett as Peeta Mellark and Joshua Lacey as Haymitch Abernathy.
They are joined by Tristan Waterson, Sophia Ally, Heddle, Ruth Everett, Tamsin Carroll, Stavros Demetraki and Nathan Ives-Moiba, alongside a large ensemble cast.
Hollywood legend John Malkovich appears on screen as President Snow.
Conor McPherson adapts the story for the stage, with direction by Matthew Dunster and a creative team including Miriam Buether, Moi Tran, Charlotte Broom, Lucy Carter, Ian Dickinson and Tal Rosner.
Set in a dystopian future, The Hunger Games: On Stage follows Katniss Everdeen as she is forced to compete in a brutal televised contest, becoming a symbol of rebellion against the oppressive Capitol.
