Agatha Christie’s iconic thriller The Mousetrap, the world’s longest-running play, will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour from September 2026 through 2027. The announcement comes as part of celebrations marking the production’s 75th anniversary.
The West End production at St Martin’s Theatre will also extend its booking period into its 75th year, now running until 3 January 2027.
Producer Brian Fenty said:
“We are thrilled to take The Mousetrap on tour during this milestone year, giving audiences across the UK the chance to experience theatre’s most famous mystery.”
Since opening in 1952, The Mousetrap has captivated audiences with its genre-defining murder mystery. Earlier this year, the play celebrated its 30,000th West End performance and received a Guinness World Records certificate for the longest theatrical run.
The London production is directed by Ola Ince with artistic direction by Denise Silvey. Full casting and creative team for the tour will be announced soon.
