Thriving theatre in Ealing returns after lockdown with three COVID-secure productions, including two special Christmas shows to welcome in the festive period.

Firstly, the theatre will be staging staging ‘The Letter of Last Resort’, it’s late on the night after the general election. The new Prime Minister is working when she is interrupted by The Head of Arrangements. He has one request – a letter needs to be written, by her alone. It can only say one of two things, but its implications could change the face of the earth forevermore…

A gripping one-act drama that skilfully unpacks the debate on nuclear weapons and the complex power they hold. Written by award-winning Scottish writer David Greig.

The Questors Theatre are proud to be collaborating with Playgc Theatre Company on this production. Playgc is a new company that seeks to produce and stage mainly contemporary theatre with an emphasis on new writing, including commissioning work by young writers. This production was previously performed at the West End’s Jermyn Street Theatre in 2016 to high-acclaim.

‘The Letter of Last Resort’ runs 16th – 19th December 2020.

Also running will be Christmas Ghost Stories.  We all want that ‘chill factor’ during the winter months – and we don’t mean the cold breath of a further lockdown. After the sell-out success of Horror Stories for Hallowe’en, The Questors bring you more spine-chilling tales, told live on stage. Are you brave enough to enter?

Runs for four performances only on 12th December at 3:30 pm, then 7:45 pm and 20th December at 3:30 pm, then 7:45 pm.

The second festive show is Yule be Back! The Questors are pulling out the stops with a variety show, featuring a line-up of diverse and unique talents, from song to comedy. Performed live on their Judi Dench Playhouse stage for four nights of true Christmas revelry. Come and enjoy some festive fun for the whole family – Yule be back in at The Questors before you know it!

Runs for four performances only on 27th & 29th Dec at 6 pm and 29th & 30th at 7 pm. Due to social distancing, there will be limited numbers of tickets available, so snap yours up fast.

The Questors Theatre is completely COVID-19 secure, in line with the government’s guidelines. These measures will be in place until further notice. You can read them in full here: http://www.questors.org.uk/event.aspx?id=887
