Underbelly has announced that comedy legend and Giffords Circus favourite Tweedy The Clown will tour the UK in 2026 with his new show Tweedy’s Massive Circus: The Big Number 2.
The new production follows a smash hit tour, a popular run at the Edinburgh Fringe and acclaimed London performances that left audiences roaring with laughter.
The tour will open at Millets Farm in Frilford, Oxfordshire from 26 March to 4 April, before visiting Old Farm in Moreton-In-Marsh, Dunkertons in Cheltenham and Eastcourt Farm in Crudwell, running until 31 May.
Tweedy said: “I’m so excited to be taking Tweedy’s Massive Circus back on the road with The Big Number 2. It’s bigger, bolder and much more bonkers than last time… despite the tent still being very, very tiny. We’ve got a brilliant cast, some wild ideas and just enough confidence to think it’ll all work. I honestly can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
Tweedy will be joined by Sam Goodburn and Charlie Bicknell, who will also be causing mischief under the ‘little’ big top throughout the spring.
Described as bigger in ambition if not in size, Tweedy’s Massive Circus: The Big Number 2 promises a whirlwind of clowning, comedy and mayhem, as Tweedy attempts to stage the greatest circus show ever with wildly optimistic ideas and a suspiciously small tent.
The show is billed as a joyful circus adventure for the whole family, bursting with laughs, surprises and heart, and suitable for audiences aged 3 to 103.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday 23 January.
