West End LIVE 2025 Announces Additional Performances and 20th Anniversary Concert

West End LIVE 2025 is set to return to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June, celebrating its 20th anniversary with an expanded line-up and a star-studded commemorative concert.

Hailed as “Glastonbury for theatre lovers,” West End LIVE remains Europe’s largest free musical theatre festival, offering fans the chance to experience performances from over 50 of London’s top musicals.

This year’s event will feature new additions to the line-up, including Jamie Lloyd’s highly anticipated production of Evita, with Hollywood star Rachel Zegler making her West End LIVE debut.

       

Other newly announced performances include 101 Dalmatians, Janie Dee’s Beautiful World Cabaret, National Youth Music Theatre, and This Is My Family.

A special 20th anniversary concert will take place on Sunday afternoon, curated by Westway Music. The concert will feature performances from Madalena Alberto, Aimie Atkinson, Cassidy Janson, Jenna Lee-James, Kayleigh McKnight, Lee Mead, Johndeep More, Natalie Paris, Tobias Turley and Marisha Wallace.

First look rehearsal images released for Legally Blonde The Musical UK and Ireland tour

The concert will celebrate two decades of West End LIVE with songs from iconic shows such as Beautiful, Carousel, Dreamgirls, Frozen, Heathers, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, & Juliet, Once, Rent and We Will Rock You.

This year’s presenters include Divina De Campo and Hannah Lowther on Saturday, with Zoe Birkett and Oliver Tompsett taking over hosting duties on Sunday.

Cllr Ryan Jude, Westminster City Council Cabinet Member for Climate, Ecology and Culture, said:
“West End LIVE made its debut in Leicester Square two decades ago and has since grown into Europe’s largest free celebration of open-air theatre. Through our partnership with the Society of London Theatre, the impact of West End LIVE reaches far beyond a single weekend.

“Working together, we’re proud to be increasing access to cultural opportunities for residents and young people in Westminster. We want to ensure everyone has the chance to experience the amazing cultural opportunities we have on offer in our city and we are looking forward to seeing people celebrating an incredible 20 years of West End LIVE this summer.”

       

West End LIVE is presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, with support from the Mayor of London and a host of partners and sponsors.

The event is free to attend, with performances and exclusive backstage content streamed live on Official London Theatre’s YouTube and social media channels.
