A brand-new concept album for Clockwork Christmas, an original family-disaster musical, is now available on all streaming platforms. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios with a 14-piece orchestra, the album features West End stars Kerry Ellis, Peter Forbes, Claire Moore, Lauren Byrne, and Lucie St. Louis.

Created by composer Craig Adams (Lift, Thérèse Raquin), lyricist Anton Mouzykantskii, and book writer Daria Aksenova, Clockwork Christmas is inspired by a short story by Nobel Laureate Heinrich Böll. The musical asks a chilling question: what happens when Christmas refuses to end?

The story follows the Lentz family after a disastrous holiday dinner triggers their mother Milla’s breakdown. To keep her stable, the family restages a perfect Christmas every night. What begins as a healing ritual spirals into a nightmare as children vanish, replaced by actors and mechanical dolls—until an unexpected Christmas miracle changes everything.

The eight-song album spans a wide emotional range, from the explosive opening number Good Luck, Mister Goose! sung by Claire Moore, to the haunting ballad Shortest Short Straw performed by Lucie St. Louis, and the lead single Once a Year, delivered by Kerry Ellis and shortlisted for the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize.

“Being part of Clockwork Christmas and lending my voice to ‘Once a Year’ has been a genuine joy. Craig Adams and Anton Mouzykantskii have created something magical.”

Anton Mouzykantskii added:

“After six years of crafting this material across different countries and languages, hearing these songs fully realised at Abbey Road has been everything we hoped for.”

The album includes orchestrations by Grigory Losenkov, music direction by Dave Rose, and engineering by Haydn Bendall. Music videos, trailer, sheet music and backing tracks are available at clockwork.christmas.
