West End favourites Simbi Akande and Nadim Naaman will star as Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady at The Mill at Sonning.
The production of Lerner and Loewe’s beloved musical will run from 20 November 2025 to 17 January 2026, with press performances scheduled for Friday 28 November (evening) and Saturday 29 November (matinee).
Directed and choreographed by Joseph Pitcher, whose 2023 production of Gypsy at The Mill at Sonning won the UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production, My Fair Lady promises to be a highlight of the festive season.
Featuring timeless songs such as “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?”, “On The Street Where You Live” and “I Could Have Danced All Night”, the musical remains one of the most cherished classics in theatre history.
Simbi Akande’s recent credits include Peggy/Maria in Hamilton (Victoria Palace Theatre), Jill in Mother Goose (Duke of York and UK Tour), and Izzy in The Great British Bake Off – The Musical (Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham).
Nadim Naaman recently starred as The Phantom in The Phantom of The Opera (International Tour), and has also played Raoul in the West End and Greece. His other credits include Broken Wings, On The Town, Titanic, Sweeney Todd, One Man, Two Guvnors, and The Sound of Music.
The cast also features Jo Servi as Colonel Pickering, Mark Moraghan as Alfred P. Doolittle, Francesca Ellis as Mrs Pearce/Mrs Eynsford-Hill, and Christopher Parkinson as Zoltan Karpathy.
Alfie Blackwell plays Freddy Eynsford-Hill, while Sophie-Louise Dann takes on the role of Mrs Higgins/Mrs Hopkins. Conor McFarlane, James William-Pattison, Zaynah Ahmed, Imogen Bailey, Emma Fraser, and Nadia Kramer complete the ensemble.
The creative team includes Set Designer Diego Pitarch, Costume Designer Natalie Titchener, Sound Designer Chris Whybrow, Lighting Designer Jamie Platt, Music Supervisor & Arranger Charlie Ingles, Musical Director Nick Tudor, Co-Choreographer Alex Christian, Assistant Director Matthew Jeans, and Casting Director Jane Deitch.
The Mill at Sonning, one of the UK’s only dinner theatres, continues to build on its reputation for excellence, having won multiple awards including the UK Theatre Award for Best Musical Production and Most Welcoming Theatre.
