The Bunker Theatre

The full line-up of writers is announced today for WHERE DO WE GO NEXT? curated by Caitriona Shoobridge, which will be the final week of shows at The Bunker Theatre.

A series of film commissions have been written by playwright filmmakers Abraham Adeyemi (All The Shit I Can’t Say To My Dad and Closure) and Adam Hughes (Home Truths and Gatecrasher), joined by first time screenwriter playwrights Matilda Ibini (Little Miss Burden and Choice & Control), Charley Miles (There are no beginnings and Blackthorn), Nessah Muthy (Heroine and Small Wonders) and Kat Woods (Killymuck and Mule).

These writers have been commissioned to interrogate the importance of diverse, political theatre in an increasingly hostile environment. Alongside these new pieces of work there will be a programme of talks, workshops and debates around access to theatre and career progression specifically designed for people from underrepresented backgrounds will complete a week that asks: who is responsible for creating theatre spaces that reflect the society they serve?

WHERE DO WE GO NEXT is at The Bunker Tues 24 – Sat 28 March 2020.
