Due to extremely high demand, Chorus Productions and Nimax Theatres announce an additional 2pm matinee performance of the ‘Schwartz at 75’ Concert on Sunday 17th September, at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, on top of the previously announced evening Gala performance at 7pm.

The concerts will feature and celebrate the work of award winning Broadway composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz – the composer of such works as Wicked, Godspell, Pippin and The Prince of Egypt; as well as lyricist for Disney movies including Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The cast will include the already announced three iconic West End Elphaba’s – Kerry Ellis, Rachel Tucker & Louise Dearman, who will be joined by Bradley Jaden (Les Mis); Olivier Nominated Alison Jiear (Jerry Springer – The Opera); Rob Houchen (South Pacific); Adam Pearce (The Prince of Egypt); Emma Kingston (Evita) and newly announced Sharon Rose (Hamilton); Hiba Elchikhe (Aladdin) and Carl Spencer (Hamilton).

The cast will be joined by additional special guest singers, and Stephen Schwartz himself will perform at both shows.

Musical direction will be led by Theo Jamieson and musical arrangements written by Sam Young.
