Initial casting has been announced for Bank of Dave The Musical, which will premiere in May 2026 at the Lowry in Salford before transferring to Curve in Leicester.

The new production will feature a book and lyrics by Rob Madge with music and lyrics by Pippa Cleary. The show will be directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster.

Cast members announced today include Hayley Tamaddon as Nicky, Lucca Chadwick-Patel as Hugh, Claire Moore as Maureen and Lauryn Redding as Alex. Further casting, including the role of Dave, will be revealed soon.

The musical is based on the Sunday Times best-selling book, the BAFTA Award-winning documentary and the global Netflix hit. It charts the true-ish story of Dave Fishwick, a self-made millionaire from Burnley who set out to establish his own bank to help his community when traditional banks would not.

Packed with northern wit, heart and brand new music, Bank of Dave The Musical promises a feel-good story of community spirit and one man’s fight against the odds.
