Cameron Mackintosh has announced that Beatrice Penny-Touré will take on the role of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre. She joins the production for 10 weeks only, from Monday 2 March 2026 until Saturday 9 May 2026.

She replaces Lily Kerhoas, who will give her final performance on Saturday 28 February 2026.

The Phantom of the Opera continues its record-breaking West End run and is currently booking until Saturday 3 October 2026.

For the past year, Penny-Touré has starred as Cosette in the Les Misérables Arena World Tour and will return to that role once her stint as Christine concludes. She previously made her West End debut covering and playing Christine at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Her other West End credits include the 40th Anniversary of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre, Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at the Gielgud Theatre, and leading roles in Mary Poppins and The Book of Mormon. She trained at The Arts Educational School, graduating in 2021 as an Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship recipient.

Penny-Touré will perform alongside Dean Chisnall as The Phantom, Adam Rhys-Charles as Raoul, Joanna Ampil as Carlotta Giudicelli, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Helen Hobson as Madame Giry, Bradyn Debysingh as Ubaldo Piangi and Millie Lyon as Meg Giry. At certain performances Christine Daaé will be played by Colleen Rose Curran.
