First Look Production Images Released for The Phantom of the Opera

New production images have been released for Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre.

The West End staple has also announced an extension and is now booking until Saturday 13 March 2027.

The newly released images offer a fresh glimpse into the show’s lavish staging, showcasing the scale and spectacle of the musical that has captivated audiences worldwide since 1986. Production photography can be viewed via the link provided in the press release.

       

The Phantom of the Opera currently stars Dean Chisnall as The Phantom, Beatrice Penny Touré as Christine Daaé and Ashley Gilmour as Raoul. Joanna Ampil plays Carlotta Giudicelli, alongside Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, Helen Hobson as Madame Giry, Bradyn Debysingh as Ubaldo Piangi and Millie Lyon as Meg Giry. At certain performances, Christine Daaé is played by Colleen Rose Curran.

They are joined by an extensive ensemble including George Arvidson, Michael Baxter, Embla Bishop, David Burilin, Polly Clarke, Leonard Cook, Hywel Dowsell, Connor Ewing, Florence Fowler, James Gant, Emily George, Melanie Gowie, Molly Hall, Eilish Harmon Beglan, Will Hawksworth, Matt Hayden, Nicholas Hepher, Mandy Kwan, Verity Marlow, Tim Morgan, Inguna Morozova, Skye November, Taylor Pardell, Johnny Randall, Zoë Soleil Vallée, Rachel Spurrell, Jasmine Wallis, Victoria Ward and Ralph Watts.

Beatrice Penny-Touré Announced as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and popular productions in musical theatre history, The Phantom of the Opera has played to over 160 million people in 217 cities and 52 territories worldwide. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s celebrated score features The Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Masquerade and the title song.

The production is directed by Seth Sklar Heyn, based on Harold Prince’s original staging. Music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, and a book by Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber, inspired by Gaston Leroux’s novel Le Fantôme de l’Opéra. The design is by Maria Björnson, with set adaptations by Matt Kinley, associate costume design by Jill Parker, lighting by Andrew Bridge with associate lighting design by Warren Letton, sound by Mick Potter and musical supervision by Simon Lee. Choreography by Gillian Lynne is recreated and adapted by Chrissie Cartwright.
