Beautiful Little Fool, the new musical inspired by the lives of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald, has released first-look production images as it continues its run at Southwark Playhouse Borough. The show opened last week and will hold its national press night on Thursday 22 January 2026.

The images feature David Hunter as F. Scott, Lauren Ward as Scottie and Hannah Corneau as Zelda. They are joined by David Austin-Barnes as ensemble and cover F. Scott, Amy Parker as ensemble and cover Scottie and Zelda, and Jasmine Hackett as swing.

The world premiere runs until Saturday 28 February 2026. With music and lyrics by Hannah Corneau and a book by Mona Mansour, the musical revisits the Fitzgeralds’ legacy through the eyes of their daughter Scottie, who explores her parents’ brilliance and complexities.

A full concept album featuring Jessie Mueller, Ryan Vasquez and Hannah Corneau is now available. The album includes the singles So Alive and One Night in July, as well as Corneau’s complete score recorded in New York with orchestrations and musical direction by Adam Rothenberg.

The London production features orchestrations by Adam Rothenberg, musical direction by Jerome van den Berghe, set design by Shankho Chaudhuri, costume design by Laura Hopkins, lighting by Ben Stanton and sound design by Dominic Bilkey.
