At the very venue Hollywood legend Judy Garland performed her last ever London concert, Britain’s Got Talent’s singing sensation, Becky O’Brien, presents a musical tribute her life and songs.
On Tuesday, 14th June, in honour of the late star’s 100th birthday, Becky will take to the stage at iconic underground cabaret bar, Lola’s Underground Casino beneath the Hippdrome on Leicester Square.
This internationally acclaimed show is not to be missed, guests can expect tracks from the golden era of musicals in the heart of the West End with hits such as Meet Me In Hollywood, The Trolley Song, The Man That Got Away and Once In A Lifetime.
Making her dreams of being on stage a reality, Becky is renowned for bringing the Simon Cowell (and the nation) to tears with her rendition of Over The Rainbow as a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent. Since then, she has gone on to tour extensively across the globe with various shows including The Songbook of Judy, Puttin on the Ritz, The Rat Pack and The Spirit of Broadway, to name but a few.
Commemorating what would have been Ms. Garland’s 100th birthday, Becky will be the British ambassador for Judy – A Garland Fragrance by Vincenzo Spinnato created closely with the Garland Family and The Garland Heirs Trust in honour of the legendary actress and entertainer.
This UK exclusive performance joins a host of West End entertainment at The Hippodrome, including a monthly residency from Europe’s biggest and oldest burlesque competition Burlesque Idol, weekly free singalong spectacular Overtures Piano Bar, and the infamous Magic Mike Live.
Tickets for the performance at 7:30pm start from £20 and are available from The Hippodrome Casino website here.
