Immersive sci‑fi experience Bridge Command will celebrate its second anniversary on 27 March with the launch of a brand‑new mission format, Frontline Missions, marking the beginning of an all‑out alien war.

After two years exploring humanity’s survival in deep space, the story shifts dramatically as tensions in the Adamas Belt reach breaking point.
Frontline Missions escalate the narrative, placing crews directly into active combat zones for the first time.

A new poster and first‑look production images reveal the looming alien threat, setting the tone for the most ambitious chapter of the Bridge Command universe.

The new mission type introduces large‑scale combat scenarios, real‑time coordination between ships and moral decisions with lasting consequences for the ongoing story.
One ship will suspend all other mission types between 19 and 24 May to run Frontline Missions exclusively before they become Bridge Command’s permanent fifth mission option.

Artistic Director Owen Kingston said: “So far, Bridge Command stories have been centered on peace‑keeping and peace‑making. The UCN has become comfortable in its role as a force for good, and our audience-participants are familiar with their tasks as future naval officers working to unify and protect humanity on the chaotic fringes of civilisation.

“Science fiction settings are rarely more than a few steps away from all-out war, and humanity’s first conflict with an alien race provides a narrative backdrop that will open up a whole host of new strategic and moral conundrums for our audience-participants. Can the UCN maintain its identity as a benevolent force for good when faced with the existential threat of a hostile alien race intent on the complete destruction of humanity?”

A large-scale special event will officially ignite the conflict, expanding across both ships and The Mess, the venue’s sci‑fi bar, to form a single cinematic storyline.
Tickets will go on general sale from Friday 27 February following a 48‑hour Discord priority window.

Since opening, Bridge Command has welcomed more than 20,000 guests and earned praise for its world‑building, audience agency and replayability through 26 missions, special events and multi‑part campaigns.

Chief Operating Officer Tom Black said: “Bridge Command’s unique episodic approach has made it an incredible place to create and deliver stories. Getting to know our regular attendees, as well as welcoming brand new faces every day, has been even better. I know that this next chapter is going to thrill and immerse UCN officers old and new as the stakes get higher than ever.”
