Casting has been announced for the Olivier Award-winning Brainiac Live, which will return to the West End for a limited season at the Garrick Theatre this summer.
The family favourite will run from Sunday 26 July to Sunday 30 August, with a press performance on Tuesday 28 July at 2.30pm.
Packed with explosive experiments and high-energy demonstrations, Brainiac Live promises a fast-paced celebration of science, featuring liquid nitrogen clouds, vortex smoke rings, exploding hydrogen balloons, spinning CO₂ chairs and more.
Returning from the Olivier Award-winning cast are Rik Warren and Tracy Rahi, who will be joined by alternating performers Andy Joyce and Jack Edwards.
The show is written and directed by Andy Joyce, with design by Damien Stanton, and original production direction and writing by Ben Keaton.
Produced by Dan Colman for Dan Colman Creative, Brainiac Live is based on the popular ITV Studios television series and has entertained over a million children and families since its debut in 2008.
The production has enjoyed three previous West End summer seasons, an international tour including a run at the Sydney Opera House, and won the 2025 Olivier Award for Best Family Show following its summer run at London’s Marylebone Theatre.
Dan Colman said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing Brainiac Live back to the West End following its Olivier Award win last year. The show has always been about inspiring curiosity and excitement about science in the most entertaining way possible, and there’s no better place to share that energy with families than in the heart of London this summer.”
Brainiac Live is suitable for ages 5+ and is designed to thrill audiences of all ages.
