West End and Broadway star Charlie Stemp has been confirmed as a featured performer in Carly Paoli and Friends – Hollywood to Broadway, taking place at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday 13 July 2025.

Stemp, known for his standout roles in Half a Sixpence, Hello Dolly, and Mary Poppins, joins an already glittering line-up that includes internationally acclaimed soprano Carly Paoli, Italian music legend Al Bano, and American gospel tenor David Phelps.

London-born Charlie Stemp first rose to fame as Arthur Kipps in Half a Sixpence, earning critical acclaim and the Outstanding Broadway Debut Award for his role in Hello Dolly. His return to the West End stage for this one-night-only concert is set to be a major highlight.

The concert will feature solo performances from each artist, as well as duets with Carly Paoli, promising a night of vocal brilliance and theatrical magic.

“This concert is a dream come true,” says Carly. “To perform songs I love, with artists I so deeply admire, in one of the world’s most iconic theatres—it’s something I will cherish forever.”

Carly Paoli and Friends – Hollywood to Broadway will celebrate the golden age of film and musical theatre, with orchestral accompaniment from musicians of the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by the renowned Jae Alexander.

Al Bano will perform his beloved hits Nel Sole and Caruso, while David Phelps will lend his soaring vocals to Somewhere and The Impossible Dream. The concert also marks the first time Carly and David will perform together live.

Carly’s inspiration for the show stems from her love of classic film and musical theatre songs. “Combining these melodies with a wonderful orchestra, iconic guest stars and the chance to revisit my love of dancing was just irresistible,” she says.

Carly Paoli and Friends – Hollywood to Broadway promises an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and star power.
