With just 167 days until Christmas, Mischief has unwrapped the full cast for its brand-new festive comedy Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.

The production opens at London’s Apollo Theatre on 6 December 2025 for a strictly limited seven-week run, following a UK tour that kicks off in Salford this November.

Bringing the Cornley Amateur Drama Society’s latest disaster to life are Matt Cavendish as Max, Daniel Fraser as Chris, Sasha Frost as Sandra, Chris Leask as Trevor, Henry Lewis as Robert, Jonathan Sayer as Dennis, Greg Tannahill as Jonathan, and Nancy Zamit and Dumile Sibanda sharing the role of Annie.

Understudies for the production include Alex Bird, Will Bishop, Siobhan Cha Cha, Colm Gleeson and Ashley Tucker.

Since tickets went on sale in March, over 50% have already been snapped up for the West End run. The Apollo Theatre Box Office reports that 92 Carols, 14 (tiny) Tims, 10 Holly/Hollies and 1 Noel have already booked. Producers remain hopeful a Fezziwig will join them soon.

Written by Mischief’s original trio—Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields—Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is directed by Matt DiCarlo, who returns following acclaim for his West End debut with The Comedy About Spies.

“This brand-new Goes Wrong comedy brings the chaos and humour of the Cornley Amateur Drama Society back to the stage,” said the producers. “It’s sure to be a disastrous take on the much-loved classic Christmas story of Ebeneezer Scrooge.”

The show runs at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue from Saturday 6 December 2025 to Sunday 25 January 2026, with a Gala Performance on Sunday 14 December at 5pm.

The UK tour begins at The Lowry in Salford on 2 November 2025 and continues to Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Theatre Royal Bath, and more, concluding at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on 1 March 2026.

Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is produced by Kenny Wax and Stage Presence.
