Mischief, the multi-award-winning creators of The Play That Goes Wrong, have released new rehearsal photographs for their upcoming festive comedy Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.

The production opens at the Apollo Theatre in London’s West End on 6 December 2025, following a UK tour that begins at The Lowry in Salford on 2 November 2025.

Written by original Mischief members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, Christmas Carol Goes Wrong sees the return of the chaotic Cornley Amateur Dramatic Society. The show is directed by Matt DiCarlo, who previously helmed The Comedy About Spies in the West End.

The cast includes Matt Cavendish as Max, Daniel Fraser as Chris, Sasha Frost as Sandra, Chris Leask as Trevor, Henry Lewis as Robert, Jonathan Sayer as Dennis, Greg Tannahill as Jonathan, with Nancy Zamit and Dumile Sibanda sharing the role of Annie. Understudies are Alex Bird, Will Bishop, Siobhan Cha Cha, Colm Gleeson and Ashley Tucker.

The production will run at the Apollo Theatre for a limited seven-week season from Saturday 6 December 2025 to Sunday 25 January 2026. A Gala Performance will take place on Sunday 14 December 2025 at 5pm.
