Following a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and multiple five-star reviews, Tom Foreman Productions has announced its biggest tour yet with Boiler Room Six: A Titanic Story.
The national tour begins at Pleasance, London on 10 April 2026 – exactly 114 years after Titanic’s ill-fated departure – and will visit 17 venues across England and Scotland.
Boiler Room Six tells the extraordinary true survival story of Frederick Barrett, lead stoker aboard Titanic. On the night of 15 April 1912, as the Atlantic flooded the boiler rooms, Barrett escaped death three times in a gripping account of courage and sacrifice. The play shines a light on the working men who kept the ship afloat, saving hundreds of lives while knowingly giving up their own.
Premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, the production sold out its debut run and won ‘Best Overall Show of the Festival’ at the Derek Awards. Critics have hailed the writing and performance, with Scottish Field calling the script “one of the best I’ve ever witnessed” and The Indiependent praising Charlie Sheepshanks as “made for this role.”
Tom Foreman Productions has built a reputation for bold new writing, with previous successes including Big Boys, Swell and Out of Woodstock.
The 2026 tour includes stops in Southampton, Newcastle, Liverpool, Coventry and more, culminating in July.
