Disney Theatrical Group has announced that Hercules will extend its West End run for a final time, with performances at Theatre Royal Drury Lane now booking until 5 September 2026.
The production has welcomed almost one million theatregoers since opening, inviting audiences to Mount Olympus through Casey Nicholaw’s staging, co-choreographed with Tanisha Scott.
Featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, and a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, Hercules is inspired by the 1997 Disney animated feature about the misunderstood hero learning to follow his heart.
The creative team promise a lively world of classical mythology, enhanced by a dynamic gospel chorus and the show’s five Muses. The production highlights the message that true heroism comes from within rather than physical strength.
