The satirical hit H.R. The Musical heads to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe after sell-out runs across New Zealand and Australia, bringing a high-energy take on modern workplace culture to Gilded Balloon.

Written and composed by Amy Mansfield, the show turns office life into a fast-paced collection of sketches and original songs. From bureaucratic jargon and performance reviews to LinkedIn culture and the rise of AI, the production captures the contradictions of contemporary working life with sharp wit.

Performed by Mika Austin, Amy Mansfield and Jessica Robinson, the show spans a wide range of musical styles, from jazz and cabaret to rap and folk. Each number offers a humorous yet pointed look at corporate culture, highlighting the gap between aspirational workplace values and everyday reality.

Drawing on real-life experiences and continually evolving with new material, H.R. The Musical taps into a shared recognition of office culture, offering audiences a chance to laugh at its absurdities.

H.R. The Musical runs at Gilded Balloon from 05 – 31 August at 18:30. Tickets are on sale here
