Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorised Musical Parody makes its UK premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bringing a bold, camp musical take on a recent television phenomenon.

Written by Dylan MarcAurele and directed by Alan Kliffer, the show draws inspiration from a hit series exploring the secret relationship between two elite ice hockey players. Reimagined for the stage, the story is delivered through a pop-driven score, energetic choreography and a comic ensemble of characters.

With a cast of five performers, the production blends theatrical storytelling with playful exaggeration, featuring musical numbers, stylised movement and tongue-in-cheek humour. A narrator and shifting ensemble roles bring the story to life, leaning into both parody and celebration.

Positioned as a tribute to both the source material and its fan community, the show combines fast-paced comedy with theatrical flair, offering a lively and irreverent Fringe experience.

Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorised Musical Parody runs at Underbelly George Square from 05 – 30 August at 19:50. Tickets are on sale here
