Ten Ways to Die Happy heads to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, presenting an interactive theatre experience where audiences are invited to shape an entire lifetime.
Created by Emanuele Aldrovandi and Jacopo Giacomoni, the show selects participants from the audience to live out a fictional life, making choices about love, ambition and risk. Each decision is represented by a limited resource, forcing players to consider how they spend their time.
Guided by a host, the performance unfolds as a theatrical game, combining humour with reflection as different paths lead to different outcomes. With each audience influencing the direction, no two performances are the same.
Aldrovandi said, “I wanted to create an interactive show that would genuinely change based on the audience’s choices, while still retaining its dramatic power.”
Ten Ways to Die Happy runs at Underbelly Bristo Square from 05 – 31 August at 13:55. Tickets are on sale here
