Fringe family favourites The Listies return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their brand-new show 110% Ready, a high-energy comedy adventure that turns the everyday chaos of family life into a laugh-out-loud theatrical event.

In this fast-paced “comedy disaster movie”, the stakes couldn’t be higher as Rich attempts the impossible task of leaving the house on time. Shoes on, bags packed, out the door… simple. That is, until Matt gets involved. What follows is a whirlwind of distractions, absurdity and escalating hilarity, featuring a “poop-load of puns”, slapstick mayhem and even the appearance of the Snot Ness Monster.

Perfect for children aged 4 and up, 110% Ready delivers big laughs for younger audiences while striking a knowing chord with adults who recognise the all-too-familiar struggle of the morning routine. The show is a joyful celebration of the gap between what we plan and what actually happens, finding comedy in the chaos of everyday life.

Written and performed by Richard Higgins and Matt Kelly, The Listies have spent over 15 years building a reputation as leaders in ‘kidult comedy’, expertly crafting shows that entertain audiences of all ages. Their previous work has earned widespread acclaim, including the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Bestie Award for Best Kids Show, as well as a host of five-star reviews.

Richard Higgins and Matt Kelly comment, “Every family we’ve ever performed for has had a morning disaster story. Parents have said the show was ‘triggering’. We wanted to make a show that acknowledges that chaos and finds the joy in it. 110% Ready is about the gap between what we plan and what actually happens, which turns out to be the funniest place in the world.”

They continue, “Which is really a show about every family, everywhere.”

Directed by Mish Grigor, this latest show is a hilarious and affectionate ode to domestic mayhem, packed with inventive comedy and boundless energy. As part of the House of Oz Edinburgh 2026 season, it promises to be a standout hit for audiences seeking fun for the whole family.

The Listies: 110% Ready runs at Assembly (Studio One) from 5 – 16 August (not 13 August) at 13:00. Tickets are on sale here
