Who We Become: One-Acts by Lanford Wilson returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, presenting a cycle of intimate and character-driven plays exploring memory, identity and human connection.
Produced by Deep Flight Productions, the work brings together three one-act plays by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lanford Wilson, staged across two alternating programmes. Each piece offers a distinct perspective, from personal reflection to fractured relationships and moments of unexpected revelation.
At the centre is The Moonshot Tape, a solo piece following a writer revisiting her past, while the accompanying programme pairs a sharply comic examination of a strained relationship with a more introspective monologue set in a police station.
Together, the works explore how lives are shaped by memory, circumstance and the stories people tell themselves. Creator Margaret Curry said, “Lanford Wilson writes with a real intimacy — there’s nowhere for the characters to hide.”
Who We Become runs at theSpace @ Surgeon’s Hall from 07 – 29 August at 14:05. Tickets are on sale here
