Introducing character comedian Bryony Twydle who makes her Edinburgh Festival debut with her show ‘Flamingo’ at the Underbelly for the month of August.  She has performed on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Sketchorama’ and ‘Sketchorama Extra’ and was a cast member on the E! sitcom ‘The Royals’ amongst other acting roles.

Bryony writes characters – often based on people she’s met. Are you one of those people? Most probably! And will it be flattering? Most probably not! If you are a crazed unorthodox speed awareness instructor, a small public school boy called Hector, or a Greek sex therapist with a very questionable accent you may well have been an inspiration for this show!

Join this madcap collection of interrelated characters on their journey of discovery. Will little Hector make it to his synchronized swimming competition?  Will Ulva the sex Therapist manage to stop her client sleeping with the nanny? And will Vicky the speed awareness instructor save that child from being run over by a car? All questions that will be answered in ‘Flamingo’!
