Johnny Partridge

Johnny Partridge

Former East Enders, Celebrity Big Brother and West End star Johnny Partridge makes his debut at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his self-written semi-autobiographical musical theatre show ‘Stripped’. Following a sold out run at The Other Palace in London’s West End. The star of stage and screen will appear at the Assembly Checkpoint for the whole month of August and is set to wow audiences with this extremely personal show – his life is literally laid bare….

Through film, music, song, poetry, and dance Johnny tells his story and in turn asks

the audience to consider theirs. This is a tale of sexuality, sobriety, success, love and loss. A journey from boy to man that exposes both his public and private personas along the way. Featuring original choreography and songwriting alongside Bush, Bowie, Buckley, Boy George, Rufus Wainwright and more …This is the soundtrack of his life.

Best know for playing the role of Christian Clarke in ‘EastEnders’ (BBC). His numerous other TV credits includes being a judge on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Over The Rainbow’ (BBC) and on ‘Taking The Next Step’ (CBBC’s series to find the UK’s best young dancer/actor, He hosted (BBC) ‘National Lottery Draw, ‘Battlechefs’ (the travelogue cookery show with Marco Pierre White for Watch) and BBC1’s gymnastics show, ‘Tumble’. He has most recently been seen on (ITV) ‘The Real Full Monty’.
