The smash-hit Elf the Musical is set to return to London’s West End this winter for a strictly limited 10-week season.
Performances will run from 28 October 2025 to 3 January 2026 at the Aldwych Theatre, with tickets available now via elflondon.com.
Following two sold-out runs at the Dominion Theatre and a record-breaking holiday season at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre, Elf the Musical will bring festive cheer to the Aldwych with a brand-new set designed by Tim Goodchild.
The production will once again be directed by Philip Wm. McKinley, with choreography by Liam Steel. Set and costumes are by Tim Goodchild, lighting by Patrick Woodroffe, sound by Gareth Owen, and video design by Ian William Galloway. Casting is by Grindrod Burton Casting.
The cast for this new run will be announced at a later date.
Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema film starring Will Ferrell, Elf the Musical features a book by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), with songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).
Elf the Musical tells the story of Buddy, a human raised as an elf at the North Pole who sets off to New York City in search of his real father. Along the way, he discovers the true meaning of family and helps save Christmas with his infectious holiday spirit.
First staged at the Dominion Theatre in 2022, this production became the fastest-selling show in the venue’s history. It went on to break its own box office records during its 2023 return and achieved record weekly grosses during its 2024 Broadway run.
Elf the Musical is produced by Temple Live Entertainment.
