Following its triumphant success at the 2025 Olivier Awards, the critically acclaimed Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Fiddler on the Roof has announced full casting for its upcoming UK and Ireland tour.

The tour opens at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre on 24 July 2025 – already sold out – and will travel across the UK and Ireland until 3 January 2026.

Leading the cast is Matthew Woodyatt as Tevye, joined by Jodie Jacobs as Golde and Olivier Award nominee Beverley Klein as Yente.

Also starring are Natasha Jules Bernard as Tzeitel, Georgia Bruce as Hodel, Hannah Bristow as Chava, Ashleigh Schuman as Shprintze and Georgia Dixon as Bielke.

The ensemble includes Siôn Lloyd as Mordcha / Innkeeper, Dan Wolff as Motel, Greg Bernstein as Perchik, and Gregor Milne as Fyedka. Michael S. Siegel plays Lazar Wolf, with Mark Faith as the Rabbi and Toby Turpin as Mendel.

Additional cast members are Gareth Davies as Avram, Ed Bruggemeyer as Nachum, Sue Appleby as Shandel, Susannah van den Berg as Rifka, and Carys McQueen as Mirila.

Olivier Award nominee Raphael Papo stars as The Fiddler, with Roman Lytwyniw as the alternate Fiddler and Karl Wilson as the Constable. The cast is completed by Simon Anthony, Jack Osmond, Alex Pinder, Dylan Saffer, Chris Draper, and Maya Kristal Tenenbaum.

The producers said: “We’re thrilled to be taking this landmark production of Fiddler on the Roof on tour across the UK and Ireland direct from London’s Barbican Theatre. Following the success at this year’s Olivier Awards, it’s a privilege to share this powerful and timeless story with a wider audience. Our remarkable cast can’t wait to bring this beloved classic musical, with all its heart, humour and humanity, to theatres around the country and in Dublin too.”

This marks the first UK tour of Fiddler on the Roof in over 12 years, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience this musical masterpiece in a bold new staging.

The production is helmed by director Jordan Fein (Oklahoma, Young Vic), choreographer Julia Cheng (Cabaret), and designer Tom Scutt, who won the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Cabaret.

Featuring iconic songs such as “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Tradition,” “Matchmaker,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” Fiddler on the Roof remains a timeless celebration of love, life, and community.
