He’s Behind You! has released first look production images for its outrageous festive panto-romcom, Beauty and the Beast: A Horny Love Story, running at Charing Cross Theatre from 21 November 2025 to 11 January 2026, with press night on 4 December.

This adults-only, queer twist on the classic fairytale promises “outrageous humour, naughty original songs and a lot of sexual awakenings” as it transports audiences to the frostbitten Scottish village of Lickmanochers.

Matt Kennedy (Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You) stars as Bertie, whose quest to rescue his mother from a beast-ridden castle leads to unexpected romance. Keanu Adolphus Johnson (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) plays the mysterious and moody Beast, while Laura Anna-Mead joins as Bertie’s frustrated sister.

The cast also includes Dame extraordinaire Matthew Baldwin, Chris Lane as villainous Cornelius, Dani Mirels, Ben Mabberley, Owen Arkrow and Olivia-Grace Weaver.

Director and co-founder Andrew Beckett said:
“I’m so excited that we’re about to start making mayhem with this brilliant company. Matthew and Chris are two of the funniest, most distinctive performers around and have been making our loyal audiences belly laugh for years. Anyone who saw last year’s show will know how much heart and silliness Keanu and Laura bring to our brand of adult panto. And I’m beyond thrilled by the talented performers joining us for the first time. It’s going to be a dream. A chaotic, hysterical, magical dream.”
