The producers of The Choir of Man have announced full casting for the show’s return to London this Christmas following its first-ever UK and Ireland tour.
The international hit musical will open at Arts at Marble Arch, powered by TodayTix, on 10 December 2026, running through to 14 February 2027, with a press night scheduled for 16 December.
The production arrives in London after a successful tour that has travelled 5,544 miles across the UK and Ireland, played to around 160,000 audience members and handed out more than 6,000 free pints of beer.
Leading the company are Gustav Melbardis as Maestro, Oluwalonimi (Nimi) Owoyemi as Poet, Levi Tyrell Johnson as Hard Man, Ben Mabberley as Joker, Rob Godfrey as Beast, Joshua Lloyd as Barman, Sam Walter as Romantic and Aaron Pottenger as Bore.
Adam Hilton joins the touring company in London as Handyman, returning to a role he first performed in 2021. Hilton has appeared in the production in the West End, on international stages and at sea, and has also served as the show’s Associate Choreographer and Movement Director.
Completing the company as swings are Sam Ebenezer, Jared Leathwood, Niall Woodson and Lewis Dragisic.
Nic Doodson, Creator and Director of The Choir of Man, said, “What a year it’s been for The Choir of Man! Taking The Jungle on the road for the first time has been an extraordinary experience. We’ve visited places we’ve never played before, met some wonderful people and been reminded at every stop just how much the show resonates with audiences.
“I’m absolutely delighted that this brilliant company is coming to London for Christmas. There’s something very special about this group of performers and the friendships they’ve forged on the road. I can’t wait to see them bring that spirit to our new home at the Arts at Marble Arch. The festive beers are on us!”
Set in an on-stage pub called The Jungle, The Choir of Man combines live music, choreography, storytelling and pub-style hospitality with a cast of nine performers.
The show’s soundtrack features songs by artists including Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Paul Simon, Adele, Guns N’ Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry.
Since opening in the West End in 2021, The Choir of Man has played more than 1,000 performances, welcomed over 280,000 audience members and received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
Created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, the production has also enjoyed sold-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House and multiple tours across the United States and Europe.
