New production images have been released for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, offering a first look at Danny Beard in the role of Mr D.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK champion has joined the cast for the 2026 UK tour, bringing their trademark wit, vocals and stage presence to the delightfully grumpy god of wine.

The images showcase Beard alongside company members as the musical continues its nationwide journey, bringing the world of Camp Half-Blood to audiences across the UK.

Leading the cast is Vasco Emauz as Percy Jackson, with Kayna Montecillo as Annabeth and Cahir O’Neill as Grover.

They are joined by Simone Robinson as Sally Jackson, Niall Sheehy as Mr Bruner, Ellie-Grace Cousins as Clarisse and Paolo Micallef as Luke, with Alex Anderton, Abe Armitage, Joseph Connor, Ellouise Delooze, Becca Francis and Amy McEvoy completing the ensemble.
