New first look production images have been released for Burlesque the Musical, giving audiences an early look at the cast bringing Steven Antin’s hit movie to the stage.
The newly unveiled photographs feature Faye Brookes, Ryan Carter and Gracie O’Brien, showcasing the glamour, spectacle and high-energy style at the heart of the production.
Based on Steven Antin’s Golden Globe-winning and Best Picture-nominated film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, Burlesque the Musical follows Ali as she searches for her mother, Tess Richarde, and finds herself drawn into a dazzling world of music, ambition and self-discovery.
Faye Brookes leads the cast as Tess Richarde, the Burlesque club owner immortalised on screen by Cher. She is joined by Ryan Carter, who plays both Sean and Ms Loretta, and Gracie O’Brien as Ali Rose in her professional stage debut.
The musical features songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley, Todrick Hall and Steven Antin, with a creative team led by Producer, Writer and Creative Director Steven Antin. The production is directed by Racky Plews with choreography by Robin Antin.
Burlesque the Musical was previously seen in the West End and continues to build anticipation with these newly released production images, offering audiences a taste of the powerhouse vocals, dynamic choreography and unapologetic glamour that define the show.
