First look production images have been released for the theatrical world premiere of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift, which opens tonight at Richmond Theatre.

Adapted and directed by Guy Unsworth, the stage production is based on Caroline Graham’s novel The Killings at Badger’s Drift and the iconic television series Midsomer Murders, produced by Bentley Productions for ITV in association with All3Media International.

Daniel Casey stars as Inspector Tom Barnaby, alongside James Bradwell as Sergeant Gavin Troy.

The ensemble cast portraying the residents of Midsomer includes Nathalie Barclay, Chandrika Chevli, John Dougall, Julie Legrand, Rupert Sadler, Chris Agha and Rhîan Crowley-McLean.

When beloved spinster Emily Simpson is found dead in the idyllic village of Badger’s Drift, her friend Lucy Bellringer suspects foul play. DCI Barnaby and Sergeant Troy uncover a web of secrets, rivalries and hidden passions.
